You can leave your worries behind when you cross the threshold into Ricketts Glen State Park in Benton, PA, for we are about to embark on a magical adventure. If you have been searching for campgrounds with waterfalls, this one includes 22 breathtaking waterfalls, a soft sandy beach, benches overlooking Lake Jean, and native wildlife. So, grab your calendar, and start planning a camping trip to this magical waterfall campground in Pennsylvania.
Ricketts Glen State Park, arguably one of Pennsylvania's most picturesque state parks, covers more than 13,000 acres over three counties (Columbia, Luzerne, and Sullivan).
Here you will find 22 waterfalls, including the 94-foot Ganoga Falls.
Head out for an epic hike on Falls Trail that will lead you to the spectacular waterfalls.
Be forewarned, however, if that's the trail you take because the nearly eight-mile trail is one of the most difficult in Ricketts Glen State Park with slippery rocks, steep declines, and rocky terrain - but the reward is certainly worth it. Wyandot Falls is pictured above.

Be sure to snap plenty of photos of the beautiful rushing water.
You will also enjoy the Onondaga Falls which is a smaller waterfall and drops 15 feet.
The F. L. Ricketts Falls drops 38 feet over layered rocks.
It is reminiscent of an artist's masterpiece.
One of the smaller waterfalls, Oneida Falls drops only 13 feet.
But it is still one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Pennsylvania.
Lush greenery surrounds Mohawk Falls...
... which will dazzle you with the scenic views of its 27-foot drop.

... but you'll quickly discover everything else that awaits – a nearly 13-mile trail loop for horseback riding, 26 miles of hiking trails, and fishing.
Soak up the sun on the sandy 600-foot beach that welcomes guests from typically the end of May until the middle of September.
Swim in Lake Jean. Lie out in the sun. Enjoy a picnic lunch, or rent a boat to take out on the water. The beach area also features a concession stand that serves sandwiches, drinks, ice cream, and other goodies.
Keep an eye out because you never know the wildlife you may encounter.
Owls, deer, bears, and porcupines all call Ricketts Glen State Park home.
You have no shortage of options here when it comes to the park.
