We're lucky enough in Pennsylvania to have several sunflower farms we can visit to admire the sunflowers or even to pick them. For a one-of-a-kind adventure, plan a visit to Smithmyer's Farm in Pennsylvania to explore its sunflower maze.

A bright yellow sunflower will let you know you're heading toward Smithmyer's Farm in Patton, a popular summer destination for its sunflower maze.

Fall on the farm brings an autumn market that sells everything you need - from pumpkins to gourds - to decorate your home and yard.

While the summer start date for the popular sunflower maze has yet to be announced, it's expected to open in late July and to run through August.

Meander through the sunflower maze, where you can stop to snap photgoraphers and to smell the flowers. On the weekends, you can even purchase a bouquet of flowers.

Leashed, well-behaved pups are welcome. Food trucks often visit on the weekend. During the week, you can purchase drinks and snacks.

Amateur photographers are welcome to snap as many photos as they want. However, if you're a profesional photographer, you must first reserve a time and pay a fee for your photography sessions.

Daily photography passes are available. You can also purchase a season pass that provides unlimited visits throughout the summer.

Smithmyer Farm will also host special events during the sunflower season. Sunflower Yoga, for example, is set for July 24, 2021.

Admission to the sunflower maze is $5 per person. Kiddos five and younger are free.
