To reach both the fire tower and Seneca Point Overlook, follow the half-mile Seneca Viewpoint and Fire Tower Trail.
The fire tower dates back to 1928 and is one of the most popular spots in the forest, drawing several hundred visitors a day during the peak season.
Climb to the top of the fire tower, which boasts less than 100 steps, that promises sensational views every step of the way.
Sweeping views of the Clarion Valley await. In fact, on a clear day, you can often see up to 20 miles away.
