Sometimes you stumble upon a place that's so breathtakingly beautiful, you never want to leave. That's going to be the case when you venture over to Mirror Lake, one of the most gorgeous lakes in Oregon. Lake up those hiking boots, because the hike to this lovely lake is worth the adventure. Let's check it out.
You’ll find Mirror Lake in Clackamas County, at the foot of Tom Dick and Harry Mountain nestled within the Mount Hood National Forest.
The Mirror Lake Loop Trail is a great little trail that will lead you to this beautiful lake.
The trail is just shy of four miles long, and will lead you through an enchanting forest on the way to the magical lake.
The lake is beautiful year round.
Even covered in snow, the lake is a peaceful and calming spot to reflect at.
But when the snow starts to melt...
…You’ll see why the lake is given its name.
On a calm day, the lake becomes a mesmerizing mirror, reflecting the sky, surrounding trees, and Mount Hood in the background.
Speaking of Mount Hood, you’ll have phenomenal views of this natural landmark.
It’s such a peaceful paradise, you may never want to leave this natural oasis. And we wouldn’t blame you!
It's a great place to sit back with a book or a journal and just bask in the beauty that Mother Nature provides.
