There are many places along Oregon’s 363-mile coastline where the ocean’s treasures speckle the shores, but there’s one beach in particular along the South Coast where you’ll find the most amazing tide pools in the PNW.

On the far southern stretch of the Oregon Coast, Meyers Creek Beach lies where the small Meyers Creek meets the mighty Pacific Ocean. It's a beautiful Beaver State beach that's a total hidden gem.

Nearly two miles of soft, silky sand stretch along the shore, creating this beguiling beach dotted with large haystack rocks and features. These monoliths -- and their massive footprints -- set the stage for some serious tide pools as the ocean ebbs and flows.

As the tides rush in and flow out, the area's rocky and uneven terrain causes water to be trapped, or pooled.
