This well-maintained park is located in McCurtain County, Oklahoma. It's a great place for camping, but it can definitely be enjoyed as a day trip. There are several activities to be enjoyed, including hiking trails, horseback riding trails, canoeing, kayaking, and more.

2. Turner Falls Park

If you live in Oklahoma or North Texas, you may be familiar with this fun summer spot. Turner Falls is also great for camping, but it can easily be enjoyed in a day or an afternoon. There's beautiful scenery surrounding the swimming areas, including a 77ft waterfall.

3. Gathering Place

Along Riverside Drive in Tulsa, Gathering Place is an absolutely incredible community park. It's a nature center and more- with an imaginative playground, a cafe, boat rentals, and more, it might just be the coolest public park ever.
