Parts Of Ohio Are Currently Under Water And This Heartbreaking Footage Takes You There

Recent flooding in southern Ohio has affected parts of Meigs and Gallia County, including the town of Pomeroy.

If you live in the southern Ohio area, you've likely experienced the flooding that can occur from rising waters of the Ohio River a time or two. Over the weekend, parts of both Meigs and Gallia County flooded, with water reaching some riverfront shops, homes and other buildings. Several roadways, businesses and parking lots are currently closed, due to the high water.Much of the town of Pomeroy, Ohio is currently flooded, which you can see from the drone footage below, captured by YouTuber user Robert Day:

While this footage is certainly saddening to see, we're fortunate that it isn't as bad as the Great Flood of 1913. Read about this unforgettable natural disaster here.
