With more than 216 acres of prairie and forests, this popular park is the perfect place to hike and see wildlife.
The preserve is home to more than 3 miles of trails, and the trek to the falls is a fairly easy hike.
The closer you get to the falls, you'll see boardwalks guiding the way...
...and depending how strong the flow of Charleston Falls is that day, you can usually hear them before you see them.
Like any waterfall, it's best viewed after heavy rainfall.
The stream plummets 37 feet before journeying back to the Great Miami River. It's a beautiful sight to behold.
