Play With Goats At This Cincinnati Zoo For An Absolutely Adorable Adventure
Visit the Cincinnati Zoo to meet and interact with friendly Nigerian dwarf goats at the Spaulding Children's Zoo.
Any day that you get to play with goats is a great day indeed. We love these quirky, friendly little farm animals, and you will too, especially after you visit the Cincinnati Zoo to meet them in person.
Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens is home to more than 500 species of animals from all over the world, and a trip to this 75-acre zoo is the perfect way to spend any day, year round.
The zookeepers do an amazing job of taking care of all the animals who live here, but if you want to get in on the action, head to the Spaulding Children's Zoo area and visit the petting zoo.
Say hello to the adorable Nigerian dwarf goats!
Nigerian dwarf goats can weight up to 75 pounds and stand about two feet tall. They're a rare breed of dairy goat that can produce as much as two quarts of milk every day. These friendly, inquisitive animals are happy to meet you.
In fact, they'd love for you to give them a good brushing while you're there.
That's right - you can interact directly with your new furry friends. They love the attention, and you might have more than one goat begging for a brushing.
Your favorite new friend might even curl up right by your feet for his or her pampering. Visitors of all ages are welcome to pet and brush the goats, and you'll want to bring your camera to capture all the sweet goat snuggles.
These goats can't wait to meet you - are you ready to meet them?
Stop by and see them at the Spaulding Children's Zoo; admission is included in your Cincinnati Zoo admission. The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is open every day of the year except Christmas Day, starting at 10 a.m. The zoo closes at 5 p.m. during winter months and stays open until 6 p.m. from May 25th through September 2nd.
