The Sapphire Lake In North Dakota That’s Devastatingly Gorgeous

Lake Metigoshe was named by the Chippewa, and the word means "clear water surrounded by oak." The dense forests surrounding the beautiful blue waters offer many trails and places to explore.

Many docks are available to take advantage of all the lake has to offer. People who fish here can find walleye, northern pike, and perch beneath the sapphire surface.
