Go On A Spooky Safari At This Family-Friendly Fall Celebration At A New York Wildlife Center
As the weather cools and the summer fades into the background, the next phase of autumn slowly starts to make itself apparent. That’s right, we are talking about spooky season. All of October is going to be one big and spooky ball of fun, and there are plenty of great events around New York to aid in that fun.

On October 8th and 9th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Hawk Creek Wildlife Center presents an unforgettable event that is fun for the whole family—it combines wildlife and Halloween in a way that is truly singular. The Spooky Safari is a great way to bust into the Halloween spirit—weeks before Halloween itself.
At the safari, guests can avail themselves of all of the great rare wildlife that makes Hawk Creek Wildlife Center a special place, all year round. Don’t forget to bring along a camera to capture all the great wildlife on view.
Both kids and adults alike are encouraged to come in costume.
There will additionally be a flying bird demo, refreshments, a gift shop, a trick or treat trail, pumpkin painting and various other activities that are suitable for all ages.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for veterans and seniors, $9 for children, and $35 for a family pass of up to two adults and three children. Children under four years of age get in for free. Parking is free, too.
