Right along the roadside on North Mohawk Street in Cohoes you can find the easily accessible Falls View Park.

After you park in the lot that's directly across the street from the Falls View Park entrance, you'll begin your outdoor adventure by walking over water.

Stretching 192-feet across the water, this bridge will lead you to a place you'll wish you had known about sooner.

Falls View Park is made up of numerous picnic tables, overlooks that are prime fishing spots, a small amphitheater, and amazing views.

Of course, what would Falls View Park be without views of waterfalls?

All throughout the park, you'll find informational signs that tell you about the history of Cohoes Falls and the area that surrounds you - leaving you absolutely fascinated.

Once you're done exploring the upper area of Falls View Park, you'll make your way down the flight of stairs to see what awaits you at the bottom.

Follow the paved and winding path and before you know it, you'll be at the lower area of the park where you're near the base of the falls.

While riverbed access at the park has been closed for quite some time, you can see achieve amazing views from the lower area.

With more viewing platforms that overlook the base of Cohoes, you'll be in absolute awe of this New York natural wonder.

What many people fail to realize about Cohoes Falls it that at roughly 1,000-feet, these falls are almost 200-feet wider than Niagara Falls. Whoa!

Cascading down almost 100-feet, you'll have a hard time believing that such an epic New York waterfall could be hiding so visibly in plain sight.
