We're itching to get outside and luckily for us, Buffalo is home to some of the most beautiful parks in the country. The Olmsted Parks System is massive and each park features unique qualities to love. But this one is by far our favorite. Read on to learn more about the underrated park in Buffalo that will become your new favorite destination.

Delaware Park is located on Meadow Drive in Buffalo, NY.

The park is bordered by Delaware, Elmwood, and Parkside Avenues; Amherst Street, Nottingham Terrace, Route 198, and Rumsey Road.

This beautiful park is one of the three original Olmsted Parks.

And with 350 acres of beautiful landscape to explore, Delaware Park is the largest of the three.

The park consists of several notable attractions in the city.

The Japanese Garden, Hoyt Lake, and even a stunning rose garden can all be found within Delaware Park. They make for a perfectly picturesque visit!

When the park was originally designed, Olmsted and Vaux called it a "country park."

Taking a stroll through Delaware Park really does make you forget you're still within city limits. Massive trees, tons of green space, and beautiful paths to wander all await your arrival.
