While they don't seem to have tours of the farm available, the owners of Maple Ridge Ranch travel near and far to provide their bison specialties.

Yes, this is an actual farm. As in, they produce meats from the buffalo that roam on the range.

The ranch was started in 2001 and is family owned and operated.

Maple Ridge is currently home to around 70 bison, including a couple adorable calves!

Most of the ranch's 300+ acres are enclosed by an electric fence, allowing the animals to roam freely.

According to the Maple Ridge website, "We support the growth of natural and sustainable agricultural practices and treat all of our bison with dignity."

You can find Maple Ridge Ranch by traveling roughly 60 miles south of Buffalo.
