This Park In New Hampshire Has A Dark And Evil History That Will Never Be Forgotten

New Hampshire doesn't have very many murders. However, one of the state's most gruesome murders is tied to a park in the state that, at the surface, looks beautiful. Yet the dark and evil history of this place runs deep. Four bodies were found in Bear Brook State Park in 1985, and the mystery still has not been solved more than 30 years later.

Bear Brook State Park in Allenstown is a beautiful wooded area surrounding a gorgeous lake. However, not one but FOUR dead bodies have been found here.

Three of them were girls, ages 2 or 3, 4 and 9. The other body was of a woman who was in her mid-20s.

The story of how the bodies were discovered makes the case even more disturbing.

On November 10, 1985, a hunter discovered the body of a woman and child inside a 55-gallon drum. The bodies were wrapped in plastic and stuffed into the oil drum.

For 15 years, the New Hampshire community was horrified by the though that two bodies were found in our peaceful state. Then, in May 2000 the mystery got twice as horrifying, when two more bodies were found, concealed in the same way and left just 300 feet from the first two bodies.

Investigators determined that the woman was likely mother to the oldest and youngest girl, and that they lived in the north east. The 4-year-old was not related to the other three victims, and was likely from the Dakotas or Nebraska.

However, their identities have never been determined. In the early days the case was widely publicized. The FBI released composites of the victim's faces in 2013, and again last year. But no credible leads came forth.

For now, this beautiful state park is marked by a dark and evil history that - for now - is completely unsolved.
