You'll find the trailhead located near the park's Caves Area parking lot. At just two miles out and back, the trail is nice and short. However, there are a few steep sections interspersed along the trail, so be sure to come prepared.

As you set off onto the trail, you'll soon find yourself completely immersed in the gorge's wacky landscape. From slot canyons to the towering natural spires, it almost feels like you've been transported to a different planet.

You'll soon come across a tall staircase that ultimately leads you to the overlook. As you climb, the view of Cathedral Gorge just gets better and better. This part of the trail is the steepest so be sure to enjoy the view as you go!

At the top of the staircase is Miller Point, boasting a shady seating area underneath a gazebo and endless views at a whopping elevation of 5,000 feet. It's the perfect place to just sit and take it all in for a few moments.

Although the hike technically ends here, you can extend your adventure by exploring the nearby caves. Located further down the road, you'll find what's known as the Canyon Caves—a gathering of slot canyons hidden within the rock formations.
