Most people outside of Nevada don't think of us as a place for farms and agriculture, but we actually have a strong agricultural heritage. We even have an incredible lavender farm that is a feast for all the senses. It's a breathtakingly beautiful place that will relax you.

Lavender Ridge is a working lavender farm that also serves as an unique wedding and event venue.

The farm is family-owned and family-run and covers 1.5 acres.

The farm is located near the Truckee River and the city of Reno.

This lovely spot makes an unforgettable backdrop for weddings, with the thousands of fragrant lavender plants surrounding you as you walk down the "aisle."

Weddings and events include appropriately color-themed table decor, of course!

They also regularly host events such as their Lavender Ridge Festival and pick your own lavender days.

The lavender harvested each year is used to create products for sale both from the farm and online at their store.

The gift shop at the farm is open to visitors the first Wednesday and the last Saturday of every month from 11 am to 2 pm.

Due to wedding bookings, always verify the dates and times beforehand as these may be subject to change.

Their lavender-based kitchen products include soaps, lavender for cooking, lavender pepper, Herbs de Provence with lavender, lavender gourmet spice, meat and fish rubs, and a night-time tea blend.

They also prepare bath and body products including lavender bath salts and oils, lavender salt scrubs, lavender shower gel and much more. Herbal aromatherapy products are also available both online and at the store.
