With only 9.5 inches of rain each year, Nevada is the least rainy state in the U.S. On average, Nevada has an overall state average of 252 sunny days per year. Of course, some cities and towns in Nevada have a higher number of sunny days than others. After looking at Sperling's Best Places, we found that the following 12 cities and towns have the highest average of sunny days each year.

Note: All of the following cities and towns are located in Clark County. Clark County has an average of 292 sunny days each year. The metro area has an overall average of 300 sunny days each year. Listed below is the average number of sunny days these cities and towns have each year.

1. Paradise

Paradise has an average of 298 sunny days each year.

2. Henderson

Henderson has an average of 297 sunny days each year.

3. Moapa Valley

Moapa Valley ties with Henderson by having an average of 297 sunny days each year.

4. Sunrise Manor

Sunrise Manor has an average of 296 sunny days each year.

5. Indian Springs

Indian Springs has an average of 295 sunny days each year.

6. Las Vegas

Las Vegas has an average of 294 sunny days each year.

7. Winchester

Winchester also has an average of 294 sunny days each year.

8. Mesquite

Like Las Vegas and Winchester, Mesquite also has an average of 294 sunny days each year.

9. Nellis AFB

Nellis AFB finishes up this four-way tie by also having an average of 294 sunny days each year.

10. Enterprise

Enterprise has an average of 293 sunny days each year.

11. Whitney

Whitney has an average of 292 sunny days each year.

12. Blue Diamond

Blue Diamond ties with Whitney by also having an average of 292 sunny days each year.
