Located at Percy Warner, Mossy Ridge Trail is known to be the most strenuous hike in the park - although also its most beautiful. It's colloquially referred to as, 'The Red Trail'.

The trail was even noted as one of the top trails in the US by Fodor’s Travel Guide.

The trail spans four miles through forested land and is well-known for extensive wildlife.

The trail is used mainly for hiking, although there are some trail runners that utilize the space as well as dog walkers. Just make sure to clean up after Fido!

There are multiple hills throughout the loop that will give you a bit of a challenge. This isn't an asphalt based loop - it's a true hiking trail that will get your heart pumping.

The Warner Parks span over 1,000 acres in the Nashville area, making them one of the most trafficked Tennessee hiking spots outside of the Great Smoky Mountains.

The Warner Parks proffer eight other trails for all age groups and interests, so yes folks - there are options. Mossy Ridge Trail will forever hold the top notch spot in our hearts.
