There’s A Jungle Themed Playground And Splash Pad In Missouri Called The Splash Pad

Burrus Old Mill Park in Blue Springs, Missouri, features a jungle-themed splash pad and playground, offering a fun and safe way for kids to cool off during the summer.

Summertime as a kid often meant sprinting through backyard sprinklers to help us beat the heat. Or maybe we would just have one of our friends hold the hose as we took turns running past it. Those were the days, weren't they? Today's kids have it even better with spray parks and splash pads, like this jungle-themed playground and splash pad in Missouri.

Plan a day of fun under the sun at Burrus Old Mill Park in Blue Springs, which boasts the city's very first splash pad.

A safe and a fun way for the kids to cool off all summer long, the jungle themed splash pad welcomes guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The free splash pad is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and kids 10 and younger must be with an adult for supervision.

Watch as the kiddos cool off as water jets down from different jungle themed water attractions. You can also rent the small or the large picnic shelter for three hours, perfect if you have a group with you.

The splash pad does have a few rules - street shoes, pets, food, and drink are not allowed, for example.
