Stretch those muscles before setting off on the 3.7-mile Lakeview Trail, a loop trail that's highlighted by sweeping views of Creve Coeur Lake.
Tucked in Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park, Lakeview Trail attracts plenty of walkers, joggers, and even bicyclists.
And, the trail is paved, making it an easy hike, no matter how much or how little hiking experience you have.
Once you arrive lakeside, you'll find plenty to do, too. Rent a canoe or a kayak for a leisurely meander around the lake. Bicycle rentals are also available.
Or, simply pull a chair up on the shoreline and watch the sun dance off of the lake. Don't forget to keep an eye out for wildlife, too, like turtles sunning themselves on a log in the water.
Didn't bring a beach chair? Relax on one of the wooden benches, which provides spectacular, sweeping views of Creve Coeur Lake.
