Few People Know There’s A Beautiful Park Hiding In This Small Missouri Town

A few hours on a sunny Missouri day offers so much promise. We can go for a leisurely stroll, have a relaxing picnic, or take the kiddos to the playground. Or we can do all of that – and more – at Towne Park, a beautiful park in Foristell, Missouri. Once you visit, chances are pretty good you’ll return again and again.

A small town in St. Charles and Warren Counties, Foristell is home to around 550 residents and a beautiful park to which locals flock for its full menu of outdoor amenities.

However, if you’re not from this small Missouri town, you might not have heard of Towne Park, a cozy 109-acre park that welcomes visitors all year long.

If you feel like just kicking back and relaxing while the kiddos burn off some of that excess energy, take them to the playground at the park. There, they can glide down slides, climb ropes, and play in the sandbox.

The whole family will have a blast at the Nature Art Area, where you can use nature’s tools to make art and music.

History buffs will also enjoy a stop at the Towne Park Homestead. The reconstructed historical homestead gives visitors a glimpse into the 1800s.

Slip on your hiking shoes, too, for a leisurely stroll along one of the six trails that total more than two miles. The trails pass through woods, past colorful wildflowers, and near a pond.

With all there is to do at this Missouri park, you could spend all day. Bring a picnic along, and have a relaxing bite to eat at one of the picnic tables.

The park also has restrooms that are open throughout the year.
