Alley Spring Overlook Trail Is A Beginner-Friendly Waterfall Trail In Missouri That’s Great For A Family Hike

If you've always wanted to hike or if you're a newbie at hiking, you'll definitely find quite a few trails in Missouri that you can easily traverse while building your skills. This beginner waterfall trail in Missouri, for example, is perfect for the whole family and boasts an abundance of gorgeous scenery.

Alley Spring Overlook Trail, in Eminence, spans just under 1.5 miles, making it a perfect trail for beginners of all ages, even the kiddos.

Some do rate the trail as moderate, so keep that in mind when you're slipping on your hiking shoes. (You'll definitely want to wear sturdy shoes as the terrain changes throughout the trail.)

Cross a wooden boardwalk, under a canopy of trees, and up a stone staircase. There are climbs, that can get steep, along the way, too.

Following your time at the overlook, you'll head back down toward Alley Spring, which is a stunning turquoise blue.
