We’ve got a ton of great parks here in Mississippi. From state parks and historic parks to those with playgrounds, we’ve got them all. But did you know there’s an adventure park – complete with zip-lines, rope bridges, and other obstacles? It’s true, and it’s a must-visit! Take a look:
Featuring an obstacle course up in the trees, Zip ‘N Fun Adventure Park in Gulfport takes fun to a whole new level.
Before attempting the obstacle course, the helpful staff will show you the ropes to make sure you’re comfortable.
So, what exactly does the obstacle course include? Well, there are actually two courses to choose from – the Treetop Adventure Course and the Junior Adventure Course.
The Treetop Adventure Course, which requires a minimum height of 54 inches, is full of adrenaline-pumping challenges — 50 to be exact.
As you make your way through the course, you’ll have to cross tight ropes, wobbly bridges, swinging logs, and nets.
There are also a few zip lines for some real high-flying fun.
As challenging as it is fun, the aerial trails feature platforms with games, which become harder as you progress.
With 20 "barely above ground challenges," the Junior Adventure Course is perfect for kids and thrill-seekers between 36" and 60" tall.
Parents are encouraged to walk alongside the course for encouragement (and great photo-ops), while guides are always nearby for help if needed.
So, are you ready to harness-up and clip-in for a day of Zip 'N Fun?
