This classic carnival features some of the best winter entertainment in Minnesota. But one thing many people look forward to most of all is the annual Giant Snow Slide at the Vulcan Snow Park. Or you can take part in the annual Snow Stomp to get blocks ready for carving.

As we mentioned, the Vulcan Snow Park is part of the St. Paul Winter Carnival. This winter, the park opens January 22 for the snow stomp. You can view the sculptures from January 21 to February 5. The snow slide is open for business from January 21 to February 4. It costs $2 per ride, including the use of the sled.
