The park is located right on Minnesota's border with Wisconsin, in a scenic area dominated by river and forest.
The park boasts 20 miles of hiking trails. If you choose to stay for the weekend, you'll have your pick of 28 rustic campsites.
The park is a popular birdwatching spot. Hawks, owls, bluebirds, and meadowlarks are often spotted by guests.
