This Stunning Park In Minnesota Is Actually Shared Between Two States

The gorgeous St. Croix River marks the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota, and in Taylors Falls you can find a stunning state park that is actually located in both states. Minnesota and Wisconsin both have a separately managed Interstate State Park, that together form one of the best park lands in the region, not to mention the first in the nation to be in two states.

The Dalles of the St. Croix in the middle of the park provide stunning views of the river from both sides.

You can take a riverboat tour or paddle on the water, and enjoy unique attractions on either shore.

On the Minnesota side, you can find glacial potholes that date back centuries.

Some of them seem endless - and the rich history is why Interstate was MN's second state park to be created.

On the Wisconsin side, you'll find beautiful Silverbrook Falls.

Both sides offer elevated hiking trails.

And you can enjoy unreal views of the river and the dalles - especially in the fall.
