Long Bridge Bar, Grill, and Marina is a colorful restaurant in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. In fact, it overlooks the lake that gave the town its name. Address: 2000 Long Bridge Road, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501.

Inside the restaurant, you'll find many nods to its tropical theme. It is bright and airy, with pops of color and decorative accents that will make you feel far away.

There's even an upstairs dining area with huge windows that open right to the outside. They offer lovely views of the lake.

The inside is great, but if you want to really feel tropical, head outside. Long Bridge has a huge outdoor patio that looks over Detroit Lake.

The string lights and palm trees - especially at night - are as welcoming as any tropical beach.

You can even arrive by boat! The patio connects to a marina where you can tie up your vessel and walk ashore to delicious food.

Also adjacent to the patio? A ramshackle stage that would not look out of place in the islands. Local musicians often perform here, lending a lively vibe to the Long Bridge deck.

As for the food, Long Bridge serves does not disappoint. Menu staples - salads, burgers, and more - are always up for grabs.

The restaurant also serves up island-inspired entrees by the dozen. Caribbean chicken, coconut shrimp, and more await!

But don't just leave it at delicious food. Any island restaurant worth its salt also serves up amazing drinks. Again, Long Bridge does not disappoint.

Colorful, fruity drinks will make you feel at home in your new favorite island restaurant - right here in Minnesota!
