Enjoy The Last Bit Of Fall At The Esplanade In Massachusetts

The Esplanade in Boston's Back Bay is a must-visit park in the fall for its stunning foliage and scenic views.

If you've spent any amount of time in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood, you've probably taken a stroll through The Esplanade. This gorgeous park along the Charles River has a few names, but to locals it's always called The Esplanade. Though this slice of nature in downtown Boston is most popular in the spring and summer, we'd argue that it truly comes to life in the fall. If you're looking to enjoy the last bit of fall in Massachusetts without going too far from home, be sure to head to Boston's Esplanade before all of the fall colors are gone.

Welcome to The Esplanade!

It's not too late to visit Boston's Esplanade to enjoy the last bit of fall. The fall foliage will be gone soon, though, so you'll want to visit soon!

Locals call Boston's public green space "The Esplanade". This park along the Charles River is also known as Charles River Esplanade.

No matter what you call it, it's easy to see that The Esplanade truly comes to life in the fall. If you need somewhere to get away in nature without going too far from home, this is it.

Since The Esplanade is located in Boston's Back Bay, you'll find incredible views of the Boston skyline as well.

With over 5-miles of pathway to explore, this little slice of nature is second-to-none.

If you're visiting The Esplanade during the COVID-19 pandemic, make sure to adhere to the current safety and social distancing requirements. You can find the most recent rules by clicking here.
