This beautiful wildlife sanctuary in Massachusetts is situated on an 18th-century mill site in Norfolk, which has been transformed into this gorgeous preserve that protects native wildlife.
Stony Brook is right near the massive, 140-acre Bristol Blake State Reservation which is home to forests, wetlands, and so much more. This sanctuary is operated by Mass Audubon, which supports more than 38,000-acres of land in the Bay State.
While it's easy to see that this preserve is worth visiting for all the wildlife in Massachusetts it protects, this area is most known for its extensive boardwalk system. Walk above Teal Marsh and catch second to none views of the plants and wildlife.
The best part about this boardwalk system is that it's universally accessible, so anyone and everyone can take this boardwalk hike.
