This seaside spot is especially breathtaking at sunset. We'd argue it's one of the best places in Massachusetts for sunsets, especially at high tide.
Even at high tide, the pine trees in the water don't fully submerge. There are even little reflective signs on them so that boaters can navigate better.
Rock Harbor Marsh is also home to the Battle of Rock Harbor which took place in 1814. You'll find signs while walking on the beach that tell you about this historic event.
