Cutler Park is owned and operated by the state, and spans out over 739 acres of Massachusetts beauty.
There's so much to do inside this little natural oasis.
Featuring forests, trails, and rolling hills and riverbeds that were formed by glaciers long ago, this spot is completely enchanting. You'll always have something to do at Cutler Park Reservation.
While every inch of this park is breathtaking, there's nothing quite like the marsh.
Our state's largest freshwater marsh is located in this beautiful reservation, and you can even hike through it. There are various boardwalk trails through the marsh and forests.
However, this marsh was actually made by man.
This amazing freshwater marsh was created in the 1890s from Silk Mill Dam flooding in Newton. No matter how it was made, it's absolutely beautiful.
The marsh is in the middle of Charles River.
