Not all parks are created the same. Some offer playgrounds and baseball fields while others have walking paths and maybe a pond. If you want to try someplace a bit more exciting, a park where you can choose your own adventure in Massachusetts because there is so much to do, head to Salem Willows Park.

Located along the ocean in Salem, Salem Willows Park is a 35-acre park that was developed in 1801.

What started as a place for patients of a nearby smallpox hospital to walk around and get fresh air, later turned into a summertime destination for area residents.

This park is a destiation of fun! And its three beaches, gazebos, picnic areas, and basketball and tennis courts are just the tip of the iceberg.

Within the park, you'll find two arcades including Salem Willows Arcade. Fun for the whole family, you can play a slew of classic arcade games as well as ticket games.

Not only are there arcade games but bumper cars and kiddie rides.
