Calling all swimmers! Maryland has quite a few natural swimming holes around the state and today we're featuring one of our favorites. This underrated spot deserves your attention for its beauty, things to do -- including trails!, and amazing view of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Head to Terrapin Nature Park for a pretty day in the water.
You may have heard of Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis, but just across the Bay Bridge is another great beach park worth checking out.
Terrapin Beach Park is located in Stevensville and offers a little bit of everything. You can hike, bike, kayak, and more among this natural spot.
To get to the beach, just follow the signs and prepare for a whole lot of scenery.

And in the distance, you can even see the Bay Bridge!
After a day of hiking in the hot sun, this is the perfect spot to cool off.
The water is pretty shallow, so this place is great for all ages of swimmers and waders.
