But, we're slightly partial to the farms that offer a beautiful place to explore as well as a tasty snack while you're there. If you prefer your farms to come with not only a store, but an apothecary, a charcuterie, a fromagerie and a tea shop - you're in luck! We've found the perfect place for you at Nezinscot Farm in Turner.

Nezinscot Farm was started as the very first Organic Dairy in Maine.

Owners Gregg & Gloria Varney soon expanded to include a gourmet food shop, a cafe and coffee shop, a fromagerie, a charcuterie...

...even a Yarn & Fiber Studio.

But, our favorite is the bakery!

Located in the store itself, the bakery offers visitors the opportunity to leave with delicious cakes...

...smaller pastries...

And their bread, which is loved throughout the community.

Nezinscot’s mission is "to provide all who visit the opportunity to learn about sustainable living and the incorporation of homesteading into everyday life."
