Located just outside of Shreveport in Greenwood, Louisiana, Gators & Friends is an exotic animal petting zoo and adventure park that the whole family will love.

It’s the largest adventure park in northwest Louisiana, and full of animals of all shapes and sizes.

Home to more than 150 alligators, it’s a great place to see these prehistoric beasts up close. The feeding shows are always a hit with the kids.

Once you’ve watched the feeding show, be sure to meet all the furry friends in the petting zoo.

You’ll encounter more than 30 different types of exotic animals that you can feed and pet. From goats to lemurs, you’ll see and learn about all the different animals during your visit.

One of the most popular attractions to the park is the epic seven-course zip line adventure.

There are two different courses you can ride, one lasts about 45 minutes and the seven-line course takes about an hour and a half to complete.

Whichever course you choose, you’ll be soaring over the park, through the trees and the most thrilling part comes at the end. The final 750-feet will have you gliding over the live alligator pond.

Did we mention that there are over 150 alligators? Don’t worry, your safety is their number one priority.

You’ll begin your adventure with a short instructional video so you’ll know what you’re getting into and a trained guide will go on your adventure with you and answer any questions along the way.
