The 2,600-acre reservoir offers a wide range of outdoor adventures.

The Kincaid Lake Recreation Area even offers a beautiful stretch of beach to sink your toes into in between splashing around in the water.
And the nearby treeline is peppered with picnic benches when you're ready for some shade and snacks.
Once you've soaked up the sun, set out on the nature trail that runs along the shoreline.
The out and back trail is just shy of 12 miles and is one of the most peaceful trails in the state.
Keep your eyes peeled while you're walking around, you might get lucky and spot a bald eagle!
