Not Everyone Knows The American Rose Center In Louisiana Puts On A Dazzling Holiday Light Display

The American Rose Center in Shreveport hosts Christmas in Roseland, a festive light show with thousands of lights, photo opportunities, and holiday activities.

The American Rose Center is the nation’s largest park dedicated entirely to roses, and we are lucky enough to have it right here in the Pelican State. Located in Shreveport, the American Rose Center is a picture-perfect spot to spend the day no matter what time of year you visit, but during the holiday season, it transforms into Christmas in Rosalind, one of the most enchanting light shows in Louisiana that the entire family will enjoy.

Christmas in Roseland takes place from the day after Thanksgiving (November 25, 2022) until the weekend before Christmas (December 18, 2022).

The walk-through display features thousands of twinkling lights that will put a smile on your face and remind you of the reason for the season.

Several displays, including giant Christmas cards made by the community, make this light show in Louisiana an extra special event.

There will be plenty of photo opportunities, including a chance to snag a selfie with Santa himself.

Santa will be around for pictures every evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will even be a few extra special nights where a few of your favorite princesses will be around! Check the website’s event page for a full rundown.

Vendors will be out and about, so be sure to grab some food.

This year, there will be a marshmallow station where you can get a s'mores kit and roast your own marshmallows!
