Is there's anything more adorable than baby farm animals? We sure can't think of anything. Each spring, as the Bluegrass thaws, the cycle of life is continued with the blooming of fresh buds and the birth of baby animals. Kentucky has an abundance of pristine pastoral land, with some of the most picture-perfect farms where you can revel in the changing of the season up-close. At TC Highlands Farm in Kentucky, nature is on full display right now, with the arrival of fluffy baby calfs, and it's so utterly delightful you'll want to snuggle them all -- and you can!
TC Highlands Farm is located in Shelby County, a resplendent rural region located about halfway between Lexington and Louisville.
The farm is by Kristin Carmack and her family, and it's truly a family operation.
These aren't your typical cows; but rather, a heritage breed known as Highland cattle.
What makes Highland cows so unique is their soft, fluffy fur -- they look like real-life teddy bears!
And just like teddy bears, these cows like to be hugged.
The cows at TC Highlands Farm have interactions with people daily, so they're very friendly, which means you can interact with them, too!
You can schedule a visit to the farm to take pictures with these beautiful bovines, brush their fluffy locks, or simply to give them a snuggle.
-- just look at how irresistible these beautiful bovines are!
We're partial to the snuggling -- just look at how irresistible these furry faces are!
Depending on when you visit, too, you may even get to snuggle up with some of the farm's newest family members.
When something is done with love, it shows. And there is so much love at TC Highlands Farm -- these cows truly are treated like family.
Schedule a visit and see for yourself -- we guarantee you'll be delighted.
