General Butler State Resort Park is an immensely beautiful -- and criminally underrated -- Kentucky State Park. It's located on the border of Kentucky and Indiana, and its centerpiece is the beguiling Butler Lake.

Some people refer to this overlook as Kentucky's very own Pride Rock (a la Disney's "The Lion King"), and we're inclined to agree!
