Eagle Falls is a glorious blue waterfall in Kentucky which you'll access on Trail No. 9 at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park. This rocky waterfall trail offers all of the best natural features of Kentucky and is sure to become a favorite.
This trail is rated moderate with several steep inclines and stairs as you near Eagle Falls. However, at under two miles long, it's definitely doable for beginners and families.
Along the trail you'll pass by some of the big boulders and rock formations for which Kentucky is famous.
You'll also enjoy wandering along the magnificent Cumberland River, taking in its canyon walls and the lush surrounding areas.
One of the biggest bonuses of this hike is that it offers unrivaled views of Cumberland Falls.
Definitely plan a small detour at the overlook that opens up to Cumberland Falls. While the main trail to Kentucky's largest waterfall gets you closer, Eagle Falls Trail offers a wholly unique vantage point of this glorious natural wonder.
From here, it's not far to Eagle Falls, a 44-foot stunner that's Kentucky's very own blue waterfall.
