Other years, winter is about as mild as fall, and we coast into spring without so much as a single flake of snow. And some years, the temperatures go up and down like an old-school roller coaster. This winter, however, is shaping up to be a blustery one, at least according to the folks at Farmers' Almanac. The 2022-23 Farmers' Almanac winter weather forecast was recently released, forecasting an unseasonably cold winter across the country. What does this mean for winter in Kentucky? If winter wonderlands make you swoon, you'll love the latest prediction regarding this upcoming winter in Kentucky. Every year, the experts at Farmers' Almanac use a variety of factors to predict what's ahead for the coldest months of the year. And winter 22-23 is looking quite blustery.
Farmers Almanac is foreseeing a "season of shivers" for much of the country -- the Bluegrass State included. For the record, the Almanac's winter forecasts are accurate about 80% of the time. So what, exactly, does this mean for the upcoming winter in Kentucky?
Well, the almanac claims that this winter, Kentucky will be very cold and very snowy.
So if you enjoy frosty walks in the snow and reveling in enchanting winter wonderlands, you could be in for quite a treat!
