Spending time outdoors is always recommended, but it becomes less of a chore and more of a delight when you have beautiful sights to look at. Wamego City Park in Kansas is truly stunning, and we firmly believe these tulips can send you joy directly. They're just so colorful!
Welcome to the beautiful Wamego City Park, a stunning spot for easy access to beautifully kept flowers and an old dutch windmill.
The windmill was built in 1879 north of Wamego, but was taken down and rebuilt here in the park exactly like it was before.
The tulips are spread in front of the windmill and war memorial and make for the perfect colorful foreground. Photo time!
Take a relaxing stroll around the water, over the bridge, and let the natural beauty melt away the stress.
There isn't a lot of walking to do at the park, but you can find yourself stopping to take in all the colors often. I wonder if they smell as good as they look?
These beautiful tulips really make the park feel like a miniature version of the real Dutch windmills surrounded by tulips where they're historically built.
Wamego City Park is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, around sunrise to sunset, unless it's closed for special events or weather.
