1. The warm air develops a crisp, but pleasant, bite that tells you fall is near.
2. You may start to see those light crystals of frost covering the grass, and other surfaces, when you wake up.
3. And the thick morning fog that comes with autumn begins to spread through the valleys and fields.

7. You notice that the fields have suddenly turned gold, and there are even farmers out harvesting already.

9. And everyone is baking seasonal treats, like pumpkin muffins, or pumpkin pie.
10. Then you know it's time to say goodbye to the flip flops for the rest of the year.
11. And pull your favorite fall sweaters out of storage.
12. You start planning your fall to-do list, and, of course, you have to include a trip to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard.
13. You start to hear talk of the local corn maze, and even ads on the radio.
14. And, of course, you can't forget football season.
15. But most importantly, you know fall is coming because we live in a gorgeous state, where we are lucky enough to experience all four beautiful seasons, each one as amazing as the last.
