There is an extraordinary attraction in Brookville, Indiana that you won't find just anywhere. If you've ever had the desire to get up close and personal with wolves, then this might be the perfect chance! The wolf sanctuary in Indiana known as Wolf Creek Habitat is a special animal sanctuary that lets guests visit with the wolves for a most memorable adventure. Wolf Creek Habitat is a unique animal sanctuary on the east side of Indiana between Indianapolis and Cincinnati. It offers a one-of-a-kind wolf encounter that absolutely belongs on your bucket list.

Open year-round, this amazing place lets you play with wolves, all of which are human-raised. The cost is a $50 donation that goes towards feeding, sheltering, and otherwise caring for these majestic creatures.

There is a discount of $25 for active military and veterans as well as a discount for groups of 10 or more that allows each person to pay just $40.

Guests will get to interact with three different packs, and even children who cannot go inside will get a chance to meet them face to face. You must be at least 60 inches tall to enter the enclosure and only bring your phone/camera.

Those who wish to enter the enclosure are asked to wear long pants, tee-shirts, and closed-toed shoes, preferably rubber boots. You cannot wear sunglasses as the wolves need to see your eyes, and you cannot wear your hair up or in a braid because the wolves will just take it out. Basically, anything a wolf could take from you must be left outside (i.e. in the car).

Wolf Creek Habitat is only open on weekends with special hours during certain seasons. The best times to visit are during the colder months, and no reservations are required.

You're likely to even find wolf pups during your encounter. Depending on what time of year your visit, they could be anywhere from mere months to just a year old.

You'll never forget a day like this, especially if you capture it on your camera. Special photo shoots are available Wednesday through Friday for senior photos, birthdays, and more.

You'll find more than wolves at this animal sanctuary. Foxes and rabbits live here too.

Those who wish to just look at the wolves and other critters at this animal sanctuary may enter for free. Guests only pay if they wish to go inside the enclosure.

Another fabulous thing about this place is that you can stay overnight. You can rent a teepee for about $150 per night or pay just $25 for regular tent camping. Additionally, there are two cabins you can rent for about $100 per night.

The teepee comes with at least three cots while the cabins have two beds and three to four cots each.

Events take place throughout the year at this wolf sanctuary. Every second Friday of the month is Howlin' at the Habitat where guests can pay $35 to see what the wolves do at night (between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.).

There are also Native American markets and festivals to enjoy each year.
