Founded in 1972, Wolf Park in northwest Indiana is a nonprofit organization that aims to protect native wildlife and educate locals about wolves, bison, foxes, and other endangered species.
There are several different tour options for guests to choose from. The most popular is a 45-minute daytime tour that allows you to see and spend time with the wolf packs.
There is also an evening tour that lasts an hour and a half. During this unique experience, guests will get to hear the wolves howl and join in with them.
Private tours are also available. Each experience is great for all ages and can be enjoyed no matter the time of year. Enjoy wolf cubs when you visit in the spring.
Additional animals protected at this park include a herd of bison, families of foxes, as well as coyotes. Each is native to North America yet rarely seen in the wild.
