Get Ready To Bundle Up, The Farmers Almanac is Predicting Unreasonably Cold Temperatures This Winter In Indiana

Discusses the issue of encountering too many redirects on a website and potential solutions.

Wouldn't it be awesome to have something like a crystal ball that could tell you exactly what the upcoming year held, even if just for the weather? Wouldn't it be cool to know weeks ahead of time just what winter has in store for us? Well, unfortunately, there's nothing of that sort really available, but the next best thing might just be the old-school solution: the Farmers' Almanac. There is no way to accurately forecast weather patterns more than, say, a few days or so out, but it is a lot of fun to thumb through the Almanac and make notes of their predictions. It's even more fun to keep checking throughout the season to see whether or not it was spot-on. Here is the Farmers' Almanac winter weather forecast for Indiana in 2022-2023:

The Farmers' Almanac's first edition ever was printed in 1818, with all kinds of fun and interesting things contained within its pages.

One could find - and still can find to this day - all sorts of info, from recipes to humor to a long-range forecast for the coming year's weather. Historically, the Almanac really only has about a 50/50 accuracy rate, but hey - that's actually statistically better than the groundhog's predictions every February!

…plus, it's fun, and honestly, we could all use a little fun in our lives. Why not?

The Farmers' Almanac for 2022-2023 has been published, and as always, it's got plenty of estimates for what it expects to occur this winter. Using an age-old "secret formula," it has deciphered the upcoming forecast, and it says Hoosiers can expect some... uh... ridiculously below-average temperatures and lots of snow this year.

Well, of course, we can expect winter to be snowy; that's usually how it goes up here in the Midwest.

The Almanac predicts that winter will more than likely be "unreasonably cold and snowy" this season, and we're not exactly thrilled about that... but we're not really surprised, either. Sometimes the cold really IS ridiculous.

It says that January should be absolutely frigid; the coldest time of year by far.

February is slated to be quieter, and not quite as brutally chilly. However, don't get too comfortable - the end of February might just bring some intense snowstorms into March.

Again, it's important to reiterate that this forecast is just for fun; don't place any bets on it, but definitely remember to see how accurate it ends up being by the time spring comes around!

Indiana winters have a special, natural magic to them. Few things are more wonderful than a stroll through a wintery paradise, of which Indiana has plenty.
