Here at OnlyInYourState, we're big fans of caving in Indiana. We've written about Indiana's amazing cave systems many times, and honestly, every single one is well worth an adventure. But did you know that there's one particular cave in Indiana that's not just a cave? Don't get us wrong, it's an amazing cave, but there's so much more to it than that! Best of all, it's a relatively new attraction in Indiana, having only just opened in 2013. It's the legendary Indiana Caverns, and it's incredible! If you're interested in caves in Indiana, you'll love a visit to Indiana Caverns, and so will the kids. After all, it's attached to a family fun park, too.
Welcome one and all to Indiana Caverns, a family fun park and complex attached to Indiana's longest known cave system.
The cave is remarkably significant in numerous ways, including - but not limited to - having been the site of a major archaeological discovery. An enormous cache of prehistoric bones, fossils, and remains were found here, and the rest of everything else just sort of fell into place.
You can do tours of the cave, which vary in length and suitability for various visitors and their needs.
Personally, we are absolutely, hopelessly obsessed with this cave. It's a slice of remarkable geology you'll never forget, and there's so much of it that you'll likely need to return a few times to get to it all.
Of course, the cave isn't the only draw; oh no, there's also an epic family fun park on the grounds, too.
It's not every day you get to go spelunking and then do a round on a zipline, but here we are.

As we mentioned previously, this not-so-little spot has so many fun things to do jam-packed into it that you'll probably need more than one day to do everything, but, at the very least, you'll want to do a whole day in its entirety, from open to close, for the best experience.
