It's vast, coming in at more than 200,000 amazing acres, but right now we're going to take a closer look at a 441-acre portion of it known as Yellow Birch Ravine.

The landscape here is nothing like one might expect from somewhere in Indiana, of all places.

It's lush, emerald green, and covered floor to treetops with moss, marshy areas, stunning woods, and, of course, numerous little waterfalls along the way.

The Yellow Birch Ravine Double Falls Trail leads to exactly where it says: Double Falls, a delightful little waterfall in Indiana that draws in its own cult following every year.

Depending on when you arrive, the falls could be a trickle or a roar. If you come during snowmelt in early spring or during the rainy season, you're sure to find a falls that's a little more extravagant.

No matter what phase it's in, though, you're sure to want to take plenty of pictures - it IS outrageously beautiful, after all.

Those who don't come for Double Falls are usually here for the arch instead.
