Miller Park Zoo in central Illinois is a lesser-known yet fabulous place to see lots of animals from around the world.

There are several different exhibits to explore including a Tropical America Rainforest, the ZooLab, the Katthoefer Animal Building, a Wallaby WalkAbout, the Children's Zoo, and the Animals of Asia.

There are also exciting attractions and activities to enjoy, such as the carousel, feeding demonstrations, and the concession stands.

A myriad of fun and unique animals await you at this underrated zoo hiding in Bloomington that few Illinoisans even know exists.

Feeding demonstrations take place for the birds, tigers, leopards, gibbons, alligators, as well as the river otters.

Parking is free at this lovely attraction while admission for adults is about $7. Senior citizens and active military members may enter for about $6 and children between the ages of 3 and 12 may enter for $5. Admission is free for those below the age of 3.
